Peggy, I am so sorry about George\’s death. God bless you and the family during this hard time. He was a sweet, gentle man and a joy to know. I can still see you both sitting at the reception desk in your great costumes at Forkland. He loved to greet the people as they came to the festival and they loved you both.

I met George and Peggy several years ago at the State Fair. They were representing Boyle County. Great Ambassadors to their beloved hometown. My maternal grandmother was Beulah White Robertson, who enjoyed visiting with Judge Gilbert White when she could. My deepest sympathy to the family.

George was such a dear, kind and humorous. I would love it when George and Bob would banter back and forth with quick remarks. Cannot top someone with wit and a loving smile. A treasure to know and an example of a life well lived. We will always hold George dear in our hearts. Bob & Jan
