Destiny 2 Season of the Worthyis due to arrive on PC, PS4 and Xbox One TODAY!
On the 10th March,Guardians of the Light must put aside their differences and work together to save the City from total destruction.
Season 10 will see big changes to classes, weapons and modes with a nice throwback to the original Destiny thrown in there.
You'll also get your hands on a new weapon called "Tommy's Matchbook", slick armor in the new season pass and much more.
Trials of Osiris will also bemaking a long-overdue return along with fan favourite weapon the Fourth Horseman.
Lastly, there will be Sandbox, Mod and Subclass changes to freshen up gameplay.

Uldren Returning In Season Of The Worthy - 9th March
There is a growing theory thatDestinymight finally bring back Uldren Sov as a character in Season of the Worthy.
Uldren, brother of the Queen, was not the nicest guy during the original game's campaign.
Uldren fought in the big space battle against Oryx’s Dreadnaught and was shot down, his ship crashing on Mars ahead of The Taken King.
In thelore for a Dawning shipthis past season, there’s a lengthy passage about Uldren hiding out in Old Russia.

- Fixed stutter at high framerate on PC.

Upcoming Resolved Issues
- Hunter’s Tempest Strike melee ability can now be performed when using PC controls where Sprint is set to "Hold."
- Character subclasses with ranged melee abilities will now count towards Melee Kill bounties and Triumphs. These include Titan Hammer Throw, Hunter Throwing Knives and Corrosive Smoke Bomb, and Warlock Celestial Fire and Ball Lightning.
- The Fastidious Miser Triumph will now correctly progress and complete for players who've found all 30 Ascendant Chests across the three Curse Weeks in the Dreaming City, and have claimed those corresponding Triumphs.
- Weekly Strike bounties for Hive and Vex boss kills will now award progress to players for killing Savathûn's Song, Xol, and Dendron the Root Mind.

While Update 2.8.0 is released to the world, Destiny Player Support will be on standby in the#Help forum, ready to assist anyone who is experiencing issues.
When Does Season Of The Worthy Start?
Season of the Worthy will begin on the 10th March with Trials of Osiris beginning on the 13th.
Here are the scheduled times:
- 8:00 AM PDT | 15:00 GMT: Destiny service maintenance begins.
- 8:45 AM PDT | 15:45 GMT: Destiny 2 is taken offline on all platforms.
- 9:00 AM PDT | 16:00 GMT: Destiny 2 Update 2.8.0 begins rolling out across all platforms and regions. Players will be able to log back into Destiny 2 at 10:01 AM PDT.
- 10:01 AM PDT | 17:01 GMT: Destiny 2 is back online on all platforms; Season of The Worthy begins.
- 12:00 PM PDT | 19:00 GMT: Destiny service maintenance concludes.
Meaning this will come in time for the weekly reset.
There were concerns that therecent coronavirus outbreak could delaySeason of the Worthy.
But,Bungie employees are shifting to remote work in response to cases appearing near their Seattle headquarters.
In a blog post they wrote:
"While there is a possibility that this change could affect our patching cadence in the short term, we will be sure to keep players informed about those schedules as much as possible."
"Most immediately, we will still be launching Season of the Worthy on March 10, followed by the start of Trials of Osiris on March 13."
What Is Season Of The Worthy?
Season of the Worthyis an invitation for new and faithful players to see how the Destiny story continues to unfold in its emblematic universe and to discover new activities.
With the Sundial freed from the clutches of the Red Legion, one escaped Psion Flayer enacts a desperate ploy for revenge against the Last City.
Guardians of the Light must set aside old differences to band together with unlikely allies and save the City from total destruction.

Price
The price is a tricky one - Bungie's new model of content is a little tricky to follow.
If you think of each season as its own Battle Pass, those that bought the Digital Deluxe version of Shadowkeep will already have the pass for the next two seasons included.
If you bought the standard edition, or are just jumping into Destiny 2 as a free-to-play Guardian, you'll still be able to join in with the fun but will need to pay 1000 in-game Silver - that's around £10/$10.
Season Pass
According to Bungie's official Season of the Worthy website, both free and premium tracks on the Season Pass are offering plenty of weapons.
There are exotic engrams, finishers, cosmetics and XP boosts to earn.
Weapons
As with recent seasons, there's at least one exotic weapon included, too.
This time it looks like it's called Tommy's Matchbook.
'Tommy the Ghost presents us with a token of goodwill. Sure, it might just be a match, but all a Guardian needs to light up the darkness is a spark.'
There has been some discussion about a new sword that looks to match the IKELOS aesthetic of the Warmind expansion, but it looks as though "Warmind Khanjali" will actually be a new seasonal artifact.
Armor
Those who purchase the seasonal pass will unlock the Seventh Seraph armor for their Hunter, Titan, and Warlock.
There is also a Rasputin themed armor set that players will be able to unlock by levelling up the seasonal pass.
Each piece of the Rasputin themed gear can be unlocked when players of the high-profile title reach various tiers for the paid and free paths.
Loot Boxes/Bright Engrams Removed
Loot boxes, also known as Bright Engrams, will be removed in Season of the Worthy.
Game Directors Luke Smith said "We want players to know what something costs before they buy it. Bright Engrams don’t live up to that principle so we will no longer be selling them on the Eververse Store.”
Bright Engrams are not entirely going away, however, as they will be limited to the free track of the game’s Season Pass (Battle Pass)

Trials of Osiris RETURNS!
Good news for fans of sweaty PVP matches – Trials of Osiris is returning.
It'll be a weekend-only activity, have returning maps and armour from Destiny 1, and a new announcer.
For those that don't know, Trials of Osiris is the pinnacle of the original game's PVP gameplay - offering tense 3 vs 3 firefights without respawns.
Teams would bid to get nine victories in a row to be able to travel to the Lighthouse on Mercury and earn the game's sweetest loot.
After issues with players cheating, though, the mode didn't resurface in Destiny 2 - and was instead replaced by Trials of the Nine which proved less popular.

Seasonal Artifact
The Seasonal Artifact is part of the Destiny 2 season experience, with each one offering unique perks and power boosts that expire from season to season.
We don't know what the Artifact will be, but we're excited to find out.
Subclass Changes
Titan, Warlock, and Hunter classes are getting some changes in Season of the Worthy.
Titans are the 'shoot first, ask questions later' types, derided by their fellow Guardians for simply wanting to punch through obstacles without thinking about the consequences.
They can take more damage than the Warlock or Hunter classes, but sacrifice agility and recovery for that power.
Warlocks are the scholars of Destiny, but you could just as easily describe them as space wizards – especially with some of their flashiest moves.
They boast great recovery at the cost of durability and agility.
The most agile class, Hunters are scouts and stealthy killers and are ideal for platforming sections.
They're fast-movers but don't tend to take a great deal of damage, while recovery isn't great, either.

Sandbox Changes
Destiny's "sandbox" is a general way of describing how the game plays, and it'll be getting a hefty update over the course of Season of the Worthy.
While much of the season is under wraps, we do have some helpful info from the development team on one of the big changes coming - how Swords work.
Originally introduced in The Taken King expansion for the first game in 2015, the Swords too often allow players to spam attacks - something Bungie is aware of and is working to change.
The general gist is that Swords will now have their own energy meter that is separate from ammunition. Actions like attacking and blocking will consume energy, meaning you can't simply swing for the fences on a constant basis.
Mod Changes
Bungie has also confirmed that the divisive mod system will be reworked in Season 10.
Currently, players need to earn multiple versions of the same piece of armour in order to be able to switch between the elemental attributes of each.
Going forward, Bungie says that this frustration will be mitigated by being able to use an Upgrade Module to re-roll the elemental affinity of a piece of gear - thank goodness.
New Raid?
Unfortunately, there won't be a fresh raid in Season of the Worthy. That's because, for the most part, raids have been tied to full expansions like Shadowkeep's Garden of Salvation Raid, or Forsaken's Last Wish.
